A quick post to remind readers that anyone is welcome to contribute to this site, just go to the front page and click “get in touch”. As a reminder of ways that you can take part on an occasional or continual basis view the welcome post.

If you are not particularly well orientated with using a computer, again get in touch cause we can show you how either in your home on your computer, in our home on our computer, a place of your choice and a laptop or even in the library.

There are no costs to contributing, no charges for any help or advice, no fee and no catch……..all free to let yourself be heard, whats more whilst abuse is not acceptable you do not have to be politically correct either.

You may well ask why we are doing this, that’s simple, like others living here i would like to get myself heard about issues that effect my life here to try and make it better, but i do not want to have to wait for a reply from a letter from the County or District Council, the Highways Department, a Parish Council meeting or a Beat Surgery, we want to be an alternative and independent service provider of information about the village, for the village and by the village that is easily and immediately accessible.

What would be even better is to be able to get our views read by those who can make a difference, and that can only be achieved by gaining interest of others and show their support. Think about this, if you were going to visit, consider moving to or even contemplate opening and running a business somewhere, wouldn’t you like to be able to read real views and opinions of people who live, work or go to school and church there rather than an official site that only appears to promote the good points with pretty pictures?

Here’s an example, if you would like to see a service addition such as a take-away, a Drs surgery or a dentist then say so, others could then comment and show their support or disagreement and results could be gained relatively quickly to put forward to the powers that be, so come on, good or bad, nice or nasty, give it a go.
