Car owners were warned that traffic through the village was going to be subject to speed checks in an attempt to curb the amount of vehicles speeding in our village.
I suspect the vision of a policeman or police car is sight enough to make most of us slow down and abide by the lawful speed limit. However, today i had the pleasure of following a police car up Main Street that was, lets say not setting a good example by leaving me behind doing a steady 30mph. Yes he was obviously clocking up more than 30 and was clearly not in hot persuit as he was waaitting at the lights when i got there.
No it was not Carl and Paul, but do the law enforcers breaking the law tickle you pink or get your goat?
