Calling occupants! is there anyone who reads this site able to let me know the outcome of the parish meeting on 6th June? Unfortunately i was not able to make it but i would be interested to know how it is planned to improve facilities and services, and improve quality of life.
Did many people attend? were there any good suggestions? do you think any improvements will be made?
Yes i should have gone if i wanted to know or contribute but honestly, i forgot……. maybe because i have a negative attitude where the Council and Parish Coucil are concerned i just didn’t feel the need to remember believing that no positive changes will be made.

It’ll be another load of council bureaucracy designed to increase the council tax even further in return for very little or no benefit to the community.

Dear Mr David Parry and others
The Parish Plan Mtg went very well and , it is clear to me that WE, the ones that took the time to turn up , have a great deal of work to do, and it would be helpfull if there were more interested parties. The purpose of the Community & Parish Plan Mtgs is to provide a process by which as many of the community can have a say in how we would like our village to be over the next 10 years. The Process by which the Parish Plan will be achieved is through consultation with as many of the community as possible and their inputs will result in specific projects being put forward and with the right level of funding, hopefully actioned.
The members and the commitee are only in the first few steps of this process and will shortly be asking for input, via many different methods.
Please watch out on the Council Notice boards for further mtgs and minutes.
Please , join us, it is not a lot of bureaucratic nonesense , but people trying to help get the various councils to act on the way we want Kirby to be.
OUR VILLAGE , YOUR SAY
Regards Keith

I can only echo what Keith says, come along and find out whats going on, this is not a council process, this is a community process and we need all the help we can get, or go along to the fun day and meet some of the people involved
Best Regards
Rich
