Have you noticed the sign on our little roundabout?, “sponsor this roundabout”

To ease the mind of any villagers that are not aware, we are not about to lose it in favour nof traffic lights, nor does it need sponsorship to run a marathon or do a parachute jump….. just as well because i’ve never seen it do much apart from sit still and look round.

It is of course for any company that wishes to advertise to passing vehicles and maintain it.
