Did you get your flyer requesting volunteers to be first responders and support the community by attending emergency 999 calls?

The initiative will train people in lifesaving skills to be part of a coordinated approach to bridge the gap between the 999 call and the arrival of the paramedics.

What was your initial response to this flyer? A great idea, more services on the cheap, not sure i would want a neighbour knowing my business, prefer someone you know to help you or just more rubbish.

Honestly, all the above and more went through my head but mostly, how would i feel if there was nothing i could do or it went wrong, lets face it todays culture is where there’s blame there’s a claim. Have you been in a position where a neighbour, a friend or a passer by helped you when you needed it? or been the one who gave that help, let us know.
