Every year a small patch of toadstools grow on a roundabout, they never get picked and they never get kicked by passers by, in fact people of all ages actually stop and stare at these minature wonders. They have a kind of celebrity status and are watched intently by the people who live nearby to see how big they can grow.
Two of them had managed a span of 4″ – 6″ inches and a height of 8″, that is until the COUNCIL MOWER arrived. I swear i was not the only one that imagined them trying to uproot like day of the triffids to escape their demise. A sad, sad day.
