Advertised in local magazines etc. is a service for dog walking and pet sitting. In need of such a service i took what i thought would be the ideal solution, unfortunately this was not the case.
I required the dog walking service and the first step was to introduce them to see how they got on, also look at the kind of walks that were needed, how often and how long all dependent on the relationship and needs of dog etc. This seemed good they were obviously knowledgable about the aspects of the service they were offering, they were insured, reasonably priced, enthusiastic and reliable, just the ticket i thought.
However after a couple of walks a conversation led to the fact that i have had visiting foxes, squirrels and a pheasant for three years. This led to a discussion of the damage the foxes cause and the distruction they cause to farmers. After this no further arrangements were made or enquiries for further need of their service.
The conclusion that i came to was, he/she did not like the fact that i encouraged and fed the foxes.
