As i left my house the other night i could have easily been convinced that it had been built on the foundations of a large cow pat. The stench in the air was suffocating, in fact it was so bad i turned around and went back inside. I could smell it, taste it and the air atmosphere felt so dense i swear i could have touched it too.
I have complained before to the councils environmental department but nothing seems to get done, which is obvious when you step outside your door and choke. I understand and appreciate the needs of the farmer and that we have a choice of city or rural living and we chose rural, but will someone please explain to me what the farmers need is that is so so necessary to create such a “stink”?
