The Kirby Muxloe village website

After the post this morning i have managed to secure some answers.

Firstly the Parish Council informed me of the anti-social behaviour that was causing a problem, communication was sought with our beat bobby Carl Sutherly, that information was passed to the County Hall and a period of time was allotted for residential opinions and views. A public order was obtained was sought to erect a gate to prevent vehicle access and all plans to do so are going to go ahead.

The majority i believe are in agreement with the gate and signed a petition to have the work completed. Some of this confusion could have been avoided if the consultation area was widened beyond the immediate properties that could be affected. Ballards on the grass verge were objected to as being unsightly and consequently removed. If vehicles mount the verge and/or pathways to further their access future plans will have to be made.

Rachael Crewe at the County Hall was extremely helpful in informing me of the sequence of events and plans for the area that has caused a number of concerns since the lane access to Glenfield was closed.

To my way of thinking all thie should be easily accessible on the Parish Council Website……. am I alone on this or did i miss it ?
