The Kirby Muxloe village website

I am sure that many people are already aware of the following but it was news to me!

As my daughter was getting ready to go out she asked me if I knew when the next bus was due as she had to walk to the other end of the village to catch it. This is an incredibly sore point as mentioned on more than one occasion, why is the Ratby Lane part of, or not part of the village as the case may be, continually left out on a limb?

Anyway i diverse; not being able to give my daughter the time of the next bus I fired up the computer to search. As I was doing this she received a text and said, “never mind mum I know when it’s due now”. She told me that all you have to do is text your stop and the time of the next bus due is text back to you. Apart from wondering why she did’nt do this in the first place…….. I was astounded with this piece of technology.

I am however very disgruntled, disappointed and even angry and concerned that a young girl has to walk to the other end of the village to catch a bus after a certain time of the day, it’s criminal and one day or night may be just that.
