what are you meant to look at? the black space?

  • Mark

    Sorry – yes.
    What is that black space?

    • Im luky boxer

The black space is the planned development for
the area, comprising mainly industrial units, which
are said to be needed ( !! ), with a bit of housing, to
appease the Planning Depts of LCC, and Blaby District. The plans have been submitted by Wilson
Bowden – see Major New Development. Some forces
are determined to cover the countryside with concrete, and line their pockets, with no regard
whatsoever for the residents of Glenfield, Kirby
      Muxloe, Ratby and Groby.

Think this will be another bloodhill jelson homes war like back in the late 80s and 90s. can remember people putting up signs in their windows down oakcroft avenue.

  • Angry Villager

They came and set up a stall on the green in Princess Drive last year. When I reappeared with a camera and started taking pictures of them they packed up suddenly and scarpered. They were being visited by people clearly not from the area…all very seedy and mysterious. Apparently they were selling plots for future homes all around Kirby.

Hi all – have a quick look at recent posts on the ‘Major New Development’ thread. And have no fear your parish council are watching out for you!
Sorry if this spoils your fun!
No one is going to cover our patch with concrete!

Does anyone know the contact details of the people that run Kirby Muxloe Fishing club at the Castle? Would like to join and wondered how long the waiting list was?

    • observer

Try Whistleblower – he seems to think he knows
everything going on, and enjoys “baiting” all and
sundry. Personally, I’d like him to “sling his hook”.

In practice, he hasn’t the “remoatest” idea………

      • Whistleblower

Dennis Buckley and Malc hammond sort out the fishing! Its £40 per year but numbers are very strict and you have to be lucky to get in. its a one out one in system. Thank you observer for giving me so much credit as you know i am a fountain of knowledge. In this case im top dog again. i think i should have my own page on this website
