Kirby Muxloe Parish Council – Our communities interests are promoted by the Parish Council. Village Hall and Parish Council OfficesThey hold regular meetings for the residents, maintain the village facilities and recreation grounds and give you all the village news via a magazine. The “Kirby Comment” is issued at regular intervals and delivered free of charge to your home.Their offices are situated in the village hall and are open to the public Mon-Thur from 9am til 12 midday.

Kirby Muxloe Primary School – This school serves our village, has a high reputation and a good record for its pupils achieving high standards in their education. Kirby Muxloe Library – Recently refurbished to a high standard, the village library is a valuable resource. It offers so much more than books, it is a complete learning service. Toddlers and their parents/carers are welcomed to spend a morning listening to a story, the infirm can take advantage of a housebound service, and schoolchildren of all ages can be helped with their homework.

Churches – Kirby Muxloe has two churches that offer modern and traditional views in faith and ceremonial celebration of life. Built in 1290 and 1876, our traditional church dates back to medieval 14th Century. Both churches and their halls provide the village with a number of services and facilities that encompass the community, these range from coffee mornings to activity groups with nights out to cinemas or theatres, a toddlers and pre-school group, a youth club, even organised walks with friends and neighbours that offer friendship, care and support.
